I write this with love and curiosity. I have asked why but made the choice to surrender the mental fight to understand you. I typically wait til the last moment to pack, but not for this trip. My excitement and adrenaline have been pounding. Items for the trip were bought, after multiple to-do lists were written and reviewed. More than enough phone calls and emails back and forth with Alizz. My backpack has been packed since last Friday. Saturday evening I got a call that my flight for today to DC was canceled, because of you. Ali is now coming to Houston on Thursday and we are leaving together on Friday. I am using this is an opportunity to practice just being. This is the beginning to our unknown shenanigans. Stay tuned...
